Our programmes

CEC is a space for the exchange of knowledge, ideas, skills and experiences in the search for practical environmental solutions. The centre offers a series of programmes and workshops designed and planned according to the needs of the community and the  environmental challenges surrounding the lake which require urgent attention. They take place both at the centre and at the heart of communities around the lake.

In their development,  the programmes and workshops follow a holistic methodology which takes into account indigenous ancestral knowledge, local good practice, innovative ecological proposals and appropriate and sustainable environmental technology which is transferable from other contexts.

The knowledge, practical skills and the experiences acquired in the programmes and workshops contribute to enhancing the quality of life of local communities The diversity of programmes and workshops create, in the participants, a variety of ambassadors for the philosophy and practical skills shared and learned .Through the ambassadors link to family, community and organisations, many more  people will benefit from the programmes of the centre and the ideas and skills they represent. This distribution of learning creates a wide and sustainable impact our the work.
